Drafting during the race is free. Drafting means all skaters are following the foremost skater in a single line. This form of skating means less wind friction for the followers. Replacing the foremost skater in a row would be gentlemanly. Please allow overtaking by the faster ones in the race.
Important notes!:
If, while drafting, the skater in the front decelerates, try to keep the clearance by pushing the skater on his / her belly level with your two hands; avoid contacts which would cause the front skater’s losing his / her balance. The skaters who complete the race receiving assistance from outside or other participants will not be counted even they are in the first 3, and their rank will be transferred to the next skater.
Slow skating participants must use the outer side of the course leaving the inner side to the faster skater. While approaching the arrival end of the tour turning, a track will be allocated on the outmost side using skittles. The participants who will leave the race must take that track and pass the finish line. Slow skaters must skate rightmost track, leaving the left side to faster ones.
The skaters must form a single row as much as applicable, and avoid skating crowdedly.
Please be careful in order to prevent collisions while there are other skaters around. Reduce your speed to a safe level at the U-Turn points and complete the turn safely.
